Our team deliver training sessions for:

  • People new to teaching ESOL
  • Volunteer ESOL teachers
  • ESOL practitioners
  • coordinators of ESOL volunteers

Current funding prioritises training opportunities for tutors who are volunteering in our Volunteer Tutor Project. Where possible, we open various sessions to ESOL practitioners from organisations working with ESOL learners in Glasgow and beyond.

As teaching professionals, we pride ourselves on delivering practical and relevant training sessions that are well-structured and designed to be immediately useful to practitioners.

If you would like to discuss any training needs for ESOL practitioners, you can contact us here

If you are interested in our PDA ITESOL course, you can read more on the SQA website here or on our dedicated training page here

Upcoming training

We are beginning our next SQA course, PDA Introduction to Teaching ESOL (ITESOL) on September 6th. If you have any urgent queries about this course or would like to discuss the possibility of a late application, please contact Fergus@esolscotland.co.uk or Vikki@esolscotland.co.uk
